Neil Lennon
A fiery right-footed dynamo, Lennon was signed from Crewe in 1996 for a fee of £750,000 and this turned out to be one of the bargain signings of recent City history.
In his four-and-a-half years at Filbert Street Lennon established himself as one of the most formidable midfield opponents in the Premier League and a central figure in Martin O'Neill's Leicester City team.
Together with Muzzy Izzet and Robbie Savage he drove City forward and was at the heart of the midfield unit which played such a big role in securing Coca-Cola Cup and Worthington Cup wins in the late 1990s.
Lennon moved to Celtic for a fee of £5.75 million in December 2000 after making 207 appearances for City during which he scored nine goals.
