Football Club Coaching
Football in the community are recognised nationally in being around the top 3 in the country for the work undertaken in there BME areas.
Recognition came when asked to appear on Football Focus about club development and how we have helped local clubs develop and offering free football coaching great recognition for Leicester City Football Club.
We also offer the opportunity to receive some coaching at Local football clubs. Whatever team they belong to our qualified coaches would be happy to come along and do some advanced sessions with teams at any age group that would benefit.
Any Clubs wishing to achieve their Charter Standard award can also contact Football in the Community for advise and help in gaining this nationally recognised status.
Football in the Community is developing stronger links with local primary/secondary schools and all local football clubs. We are offering free coaching sessions in the inner city during school term. Whilst already help to train over 40 coaches to level one status Football in the Community are organising a Level 2 course for the coaches next development. Football in the Community have helped by providing work opportunities within football in the community from there close links with local clubs club coaches are now working in schools and holiday courses.
The key aim is to work closely with minority groups to encourage everyone to participate in football and help support the community.
