Academy Back On Winning Track
Leicester City's under 18 side got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory at Birmingham City on Saturday.
The young Foxes had gone into the game on the back of a 5-3 home defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.
But first half goals from Billy Kee and Ashley Chambers allowed City to register their sixth victory from the nine games they have played to date for the campaign.
Academy Manager Jon Rudkin said: "The lads put in a very good performance during the first half, but we should have further capitalised on the chances that we created. The game then became a bit scrappy in the second half.
"Ryan Beswick was rushed to hospital in the first half as we feared that he had broken his leg, but thankfully he has just suffered very heavy bruising."
City: Pentney, Cox, Garner, Turner, Cobb, C King (John-Joe), Howard, Burns, Beswick (McKay), Kee, Chambers.
