Leicester City under 18s made it three wins on the bounce when they posted a 4-1 victory at Coventry on Saturday afternoon.

The Foxes went behind after just two minutes - but goals from Steve Howard, Scott Garner, Craig King and Luke O'Neill secured the points for Steve Beaglehole's young charges on the day.

Speaking after the game, Academy manager Jon Rudkin (pictured) said: "Overall it was a good performance from the lads. It was a tricky start for them but they stuck to the task and were 4-1 up at half-time.

"In fairness we actually played better in the second period, but we just couldn't add to the scoreline.

"These local games are always difficult so that makes me doubly happy that we got the win on the day."
