Leicester City U18 3-0 Coventry City U18
Leicester City's academy side ran out 3-0 winners when they took on Coventry City at the Belvoir Drive training ground on Saturday.
Robbie Burns almost put the Foxes ahead after ten minutes, but his shot was narrowly tipped over the bar by the Coventry goalkeeper.
Jorrin John then picked out Steven Howard inside the penalty area but the midfielder shot into the side netting from a tight angle.
Carl Pentney was called into action midway through the half when a clearance rebounded towards goal - but he managed to turn the ball onto the post and behind for a corner.
The deadlock was broken ten minutes after the break. Ryan Beswick found Billy McKay in the penalty area and played a clever back-heel into the path of Burns who fired the ball under the goalkeeper from close range.
Burns was on the score-sheet again fifteen minutes later. McKay provided the cross from the left for the midfielder to head his second of the game.
Beswick secured victory five minutes from time - the winger picked up a loose ball in midfield before finding space to drive home from all of 25 yards.
Leicester City's academy side travel to Stamford Bridge on Thursday when they face Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup
