Up to 6,000 Leicester City supporters could be making the journey up the M1 to see the Foxes take on Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday.

The Club confirmed today (Monday) that they had secured a further 3,000 tickets on top of their original allocation from the Tykes.

Nearly 5,000 supporters made the trip to South Yorkshire when the two sides collided at the end of the 2006-07 campaign - and the Foxes faithful roared home their side to a 1-0 victory on that occasion.

But it looks like that figure will be surpassed this weekend as Leicester go in search of a much needed victory.

Tickets for the game are priced at just £20 for adults, £12 for seniors and under 18s and £6 for under 11s.

Supporters can also book their coach travel, which will be leaving the Walkers Stadium in convoy on Saturday at 11.30am.

Coach prices start from just £12 for adult season ticket holders (£10 concession season ticket holders) and £13 for non season ticket holder adults (£11 concessions). The Sports Bar at the Walkers Stadium will be open from 10.00am on the day for refreshments prior to departure.

Tickets will be available from the Ticket Office between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and from 9.00am on Saturday.
