Leicester City look set to take on Sheffield Wednesday in front of their biggest home crowd of the season on Saturday.

The Club confirmed on Monday morning that over 24,000 tickets had already been snapped up for the hugely important Championship fixture - with the Owls selling out their entire allocation of 3,200 tickets a fortnight ago.

And with demand set to continue in the build up to the game, the Foxes could well be hanging up the full house signs outside the ground ahead of the fixture.

A City spokesman said: "Our advice to supporters is simply to secure their tickets for the game at the earliest possible opportunity.

"The phone lines have been in meltdown since the ticket office opened at 9am this morning - and that looks set to be the case throughout the week.

"By far and away the easiest way for supporters to secure their seats is by buying online.

"We can either send the tickets out ahead of the game, or leave them at a collection point for supporters to pick up on Saturday.

"Fans can also visit us in person at the Walkers Stadium ticket office throughout the week."

Tickets are priced from £23 for adults, £21 for seniors, £15 for students and under 22s. £10 for under 16s, £5 for under 12s and free for under 8s (family stand only).

The ticket office will be open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from 9am until kick off on the day of the game.

Tickets are strictly available on a first come, first served basis.

The Club would also like to stress that any away supporters who take up seats in home areas will be ejected from the stadium.
