Encouraging Start To Season Ticket Sales
Leicester City have witnessed a positive early response to Season Ticket sales ahead of the 2008/09 campaign.
Despite dropping down to League One, supporters' enthusiasm does not seem to have been dampened with fans keen to continue to back Chairman Milan Mandaric in his quest for success at the Walkers Stadium.
Fans have reacted favourably to a price freeze until the Early Bird Deadline of May 31, with Season Ticket sales currently in line with the figures achieved at this time last year.
Head of Consumer Sales Chris Tinbergen said: "Despite the disappointment of relegation, our fans have provided the Chairman with a great early boost following his decision to freeze Season Ticket prices until the end of May.
"The Chairman is just as upset as anyone that the team could not stave off relegation but he has been encouraged to hear that the supporters have remained united and are still very much behind him.
"We have also sold a number of Season Tickets to fans who haven't previously purchased one which demonstrates that as a City everyone is fully focused on playing their part in helping this great club return to the Championship at the first attempt," Tinbergen added.
Supporters are once again reminded that Season Ticket prices have been frozen until May 31 with prices for adults starting from less than £12 per game, under £10 per game for the Over-60s, less than £9 per game for the Under-22s, under £6 per game for the Under-16s, just over £2 per game for the Under-12s and FREE for the Under-8s in the Marks Electrical Family Stand.
Payment plans, designed to help spread the cost of a Season Ticket plus discounts for family bookings are also available.
The City Ticket Office is open from 9am until 5pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am until 4pm on Sundays.
Current Season Ticket Holders can renew their current seats on-line at lcfc.com or contact the Ticket Office by telephone on 0844 815 500 or e-mail at ticket.sales@lcfc.co.uk
