Leicester City's pre-season plans continued to take shape today (Friday) when the club announced a friendly clash against Neil Warnock's Crystal Palace.

The contest will take place at Selhurst Park on Saturday, August 2 (3pm).

The announcement follows the confirmation that the Foxes will take on Championship side Birmingham City at the Walkers Stadium on Tuesday, July 29 (7:45pm).

City gained four points from their two fixtures against the Eagles during the 2007-08 campaign - Barry Hayles grabbing an injury time winner when the two sides met at the Walkers in front of the SKY TV cameras in January.

Other pre-season friendly clashes announced by the club to date include Quorn (July 9), Tamworth (July 19), Luton Town (July 22) and Kettering Town (July 26).
