Leicester City and Wolves could not be separated at the Walkers Stadium on Tuesday night as they battled out a goalless draw in the Championship.
Defences were clearly on top in this Midlands derby with only Matty Fryatt, Patrick Kisnorbo and substitutes Carl Cort and DJ Campbell coming close for Gary Megson's men.
The game also marked teenage midfielder Andy King's first-team debut with the 18-year-old playing a full 90 minutes.
At the other end Marton Fulop stood firm, saving well from Karl Henry and Stephen Elliott early on as the two sides shared the spoils.
The hosts were the first to show on six minutes when Iain Hume fed James Chambers through the middle, but Jody Craddock came across to the clear the danger and put the ball out for a throw-in.
A minute later, Fryatt should have put City a goal up but he could not keep his shot on the turn down from close range.
At the other end, an impressive reaction save from Fulop at his near post thwarted Henry after Elliott's cross from the left had only been half-cleared on nine minutes.
Patrick Kisnorbo headed over from Joe Mattock's corner two minutes later with Wayne Hennessey beaten.
Fulop gathered comfortably from Stephen Ward's tame header in the 16th minute before Hume tried his luck from 25-yards on 20 minutes but his free-kick found the arms of Hennessey.
Craddock again had to be alert to deny Fryatt in the 25th minute after Kisnorbo's speculative ball forward.
Mattock tried his luck from 30-yards but his dipping effort dropped narrowly over the bar.
The hosts had Fulop to again thank on 29 minutes when he raced off his line to smother the ball at Elliott's feet after Seyi Olofinjana's killer through ball dissected the City defence.
Mattock's free-kick flew over the bar in the 33rd minute before Michael Kightly's dangerous ball across the face of goal just eluded Elliott, with Gareth McAuley controlling the ball before clearing the danger.
However, it remained goalless at the interval.
The Foxes almost broke the deadlock two minutes after the break when Fryatt jinked his way along the edge of the penalty area before unleashing a powerful shot which Hennessey did well to turn around his left hand post for a corner.
Olofinjana volleyed high and wide on 56 minutes then Hennessey gathered above his head from Hume's header two minutes later.
Fulop saved from Kightly in the 65th minute then at the other end Fryatt put his shot over the bar.
The visitors made their first change on 66 minutes when Freddy Eastwood replaced Elliott before Kishishev made way former Wolves striker Carl Cort in the 73rd minute.
McAuley's free header was almost turned goal-wards by Fryatt three minutes later then Cort find the side netting after capitalising on Hennessey's under-hit clearance.
A last-gasp challenge from Gary Breen denied a free-flowing Bruno N'Gotty on 81 minutes then Fulop saved from Eastwood moments later.
DJ Campbell replaced Fryatt seven minutes from time and he wasted no time in getting involved, when his glancing header from Hume's in-swinging free-kick was saved by Hennessey.
Neill Collins replaced Ward in stoppage time before Olofinjana's low drive was to be the last action of the game.
