Leicester City completed the loan signing of England under 21 international goalkeeper Ben Alnwick from Tottenham Hotspur on January 7, 2008.
Alnwick joins the City squad following the departure of Marton Fulop - who was recalled from his loan spell with the Foxes by Black Cats boss Roy Keane on New Year's Eve.
Ironically, Fulop was part of the deal that saw Alnwick move to White Hart Lane form Sunderland in January 2007 - with the London club paying £900,000 for his services.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper had a brief loan spell at Luton in October 2007, but was recalled following an injury to Paul Robinson.
