A skilful winger, Porter has made a number of appearances for England at youth level, consistently retaining his place in the national squad as he has moved up the age brackets.
He was a part of the English side which took part in the European Youth Championships along with fellow City Academy product Richard Stearman and scored the winning goal against Austria in the group stage.
Local lad Levi has been in City's Academy set-up since June 1997 when he was scouted in action for Leicester Nirvana. He has now signed a one year contract extension, keeping him at his hometown club until the summer of 2007.
Made his City first team debut as a second half substitute in the 3-1 victory over Ipswich Town in August 2006, and scored his first goal in the 2-2 draw with Plymouth Argyle three months later.
Signed a new contract with the club in December 2006 to keep him at the club until the end of the 2009-10 campaign.
