A free-scoring striker at Academy level, Dodds has been consistently on target for City at both under 17 and under 18 levels.
Louis joined the Foxes in 2003 after being spotted by a scout playing for Ratby & Groby FC. The young forward has since become a regular feature in Leicester's reserve team and achieved international recognition for England Youth.
He finished the 2005/06 season strongly with a hat-trick in the final to claim the Westerby Challenge Cup for City and picked up the Academy Player of the Year trophy having scored 65 goals in just three seasons for the Academy and reserves.
The player has signed a new contract with the Foxes to keep him at the club until the summer of 2008.
Dodds joined League Two side Lincoln City on season long loan deal in July 2007. He has previosuly enjoyed loan spells with Northwich Victoria and Rochdale.
