Leicester City beat off competition from a number of Premiership clubs to complete the signing of 17-year-old striker Ricky Sappleton in June 2007.
The former Queen's Park Rangers player, who has had trials at Middlesbrough and Liverpool, chose to join the Foxes over a host of top flight clubs.
