About Us
The LCFC Senior team has been equally as successful since its inception three seasons ago. Three promotions, 3 League Cups, 2 County Cups, 1 Reserve League Cup and Reserve League runners up spot has made for a very positive start to their campaign. Like the Men's team LCFC are striving for the Premier League which is now potentially only 2 seasons and a lot of hard work away. The City staff are very focused on the way forward with a very strong youth set up and some new members involved. City's Manager Rehanne Skinner said, "We have been very proactive over recent years and done exactly what has been asked, we are now only a league away from being in the National League of Women's football. I have been lucky to get some quality staff working with me for the future and with some new signings this year we are going to be working extremely hard for another promotion. No team in Leicestershire has made it past this stage and as part of the professional club we have a name that we take pride in to uphold. Leicester needs some female role models for our youngsters that are playing and hopefully with hard work we can give them a team to support locally against some of the top sides in the Country soon. I am very excited about this season and look forward to the start in September."

Education And Football
Leicester City have linked up with Loughborough College for a third successive season further strengthening the education/football link. Every year the programme develops and this year is set to provide successful students with the opportunity to study and potentially live in accommodation near the College if needed for students from further afield. This is an excellent opportunity to do further studies whilst developing football knowledge. The squad participates in a London based league where strong competitive games occur every week. Amongst the line up are Arsenal, Chelsea, Portsmouth, Leyton Orient, Millwall, and Ipswich. All games are midweek fixtures so do not affect the weekend club you belong to. Football - With 2 UEFA B Licence coaches as a minimum there is a comprehensive programme incorporating fitness, fitness testing, strength conditioning, tactical awareness, technical sessions and match/individual analysis. Alongside this there is access to top quality 3G training pitch 3 times a week, brand new physio treatment rooms, and indoor studio for fitness sessions, on site gym. Academic - The college works closely with the football coaches to ensure that the education comes first. Students can join college courses at Foundation level or higher depending on GCSE grades please see the college website for further information about courses. www.loucoll.ac.uk To further link the two we are now incorporating a fantastic opportunity to develop students as coaches by providing a comprehensive set of qualifications such as the FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate, FA Soccer Parent, FA online Psychology Level 1, FA online Referees course, FA Coaching Disabled Footballers and successful candidates may also have the opportunity to move on to the FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate in Year 2. Sponsorship Many Thanks To Our Main Sponsors East Mids Hire who are a local business looking to support Leicester City FC Women's team. They have kindly donated a minibus for the team's weekend games and also generously sponsored our team playing kits. Leicester County Council has also kindly linked up to help progress LCFC through the upcoming leagues by sponsoring the team tracksuits. LCFC and LCC are looking at linking together to promote healthy lifestyles within sports for females across Leicestershire. An initiative well worth developing for the Council's healthier living proposals. Following on from the healthy lifestyle initiative for the County's top senior players, Fyffes Ltd have also put money forward to help utilise our players to promote within young aspiring footballers the need for healthier living.
